I see numerous gurus of etailing on this site so I thought I should benefit from their experience
I am a bit confused about the VAT charges? How and to whom do they apply?
As a seller on eBay/Amazon do I charge the customer VAT? and then do I give VAT to the dropshipper?

you can only charge VAT if you are VAT registered. You may have to pay VAT if the person you are buying from charges VAT
