Well, here goes, I have been selling electronics on the street for the past 5 years, well you know how it goes make 20$ here 100$ there got your rent, but recently i've realised that i want to make more money selling on internet since i can obiously outsell myself on ebay. I got a small capital to put into a buisness, about 15000$ and i plan to rent a truck with my partner and travel to USA to pick up several pallets of referbished electronics from a certain supplier. So i am wondering what do customs do with the referished good once they reach the border? Taxes anything i should be aware off if i am to do this, since i've realised that shipping can run me a lot of money i've been scheeming to do this but i do not have enough information to run it. I understand that most of this forums are UK based but i've seen some Canadian and US residents here so i'm wondering if you guys could help me out. Thanks.

NAFTA has eliminated a lot of these import/export restrictions and taxes.

That being said, you should contact the appropriate Customs office in Canada and simply explain what you would like to do.

Maybe Scott can let you know who to contact in the Canadian government about this.
