Exporting Jewelry from USA to UK?

Hi everyone... I have a few customers who want to buy jewelry from me... but I am not sure what laws apply in the UK.

Could you guys please tell me everything and anything I need to do to be able to export to Europe?

You can ship to anywhere in the world, your customers outside of the USA with have to pay there countries import duties and handling fees ,

Oh alright, so is it their responsibility to pay for that... or do I have to contact customs... or will it be done automatically?

You don't need to do anything once the package arrives in the uk it gets stopped at customs anyway, then if its sent by us mail then onto uk parcelforce for example the customer has to pay first then they give them the package ,
If its sent via dhl or fedex then the customer will recieve a bill about 3-4 weeks later after they recieve the package.
