Thank you for the excellent advice, Greedy. I remember you mentioned somewhere that you now have someone handle everything for you regarding to importing. Did you mean you have a buying agent who is located in China? I am kind of scared of being scammed after reading Alibaba community forum.

If I use an agent, is it true that I just need to tell them what I need, its spefications, and at what quantity and they are going to do everything from finding the supplier, audit the company, arrange shipping, and pre inspect shipment for me?
Or do I need to find the supplier myself and hire them to audit the company and to do the inspection?

Do they charge a commission fee and how is it based on?

Do you know any reputable buying agent in China that we can trust? Thank you.

Yes, so long as you are happy to pay for it.

You can do that too and it will save money

Usually a percentage of your order value or a pre-arranged amount so long as THEY are happy that it is substantial enough
