Martin - I hope the Compact Oxford English Dictionary is an acceptable authority for you. The word in question is defined here.

And it's in several other dictionaries as well.

Surely, if you use a made-up word that has no dictionary definition then it should be in inverted commas and a footnote added to explain what you mean?[/b]
I can see your point Martin, but to me the word "completist" isn't a "made-up word", it's a very well known word used constantly by people I communicate with.
The English language is growing relentlessly, that’s why the English Dictionary needs to be updated every year. You don’t have to wait for a word to be included in the dictionary before you start using it.

There you go, it's finally been recognised. Who knows? Maybe one day the word "Unplayed" will appear in a dictionary!
I for one won't refrain from using it in the meantime.

I can't find the word 'unplayed' in any English dictionary, which does surprise me, but oddly enough it appears in this English-German dictionary!

Now that is weird!
A German translation of a "made-up" English word.
Sorry! I'm just being really facetious now.
What really amused me when I clicked on the above link was the obviously ridiculous lengths that ebay go to with their adwords campaign.

Unplayed
Great deals on Unplayed at eBay.
