Default Business Legal Advice

Hi Guys,

Wonder if you can help me on something, I am currently a partner 50% shareholder on a limited company. To be quite honest im sick of my business partner and i feel like i have no alternative but to seperate and start my own business. Believe me we have tried talking things through but it is just going no where.

Obviously the issue with this is the transition period and the fact that I can not go 2 or 3 months without money coming into the house etc lets face it we all have bill's.

If i was to set up a new business selling the same products i suppose you could say i would be in competion with our current business until i get this new business established and turning over money, would I be acting in anyway illegally and could my current business partner when we go our seperate ways sue me for loss of earnings?

Its quite a differcult situation i find myself in but i feel there is no alternative but to set up on my own.

Thanks
