Question Trading As...

Hi All

Just a quick question, If you are a limited company (i.e. ABC Ltd) i know it is ok to be 'trading as' i.e ABC Ltd trading as ABC Electricals. But is it ok to have several differnet stores/ websites trading under different names and markets

i.e.

ABC Ltd Trading as ABC Hosting, ABC Electricals, ABC DIY, Wholesale ABC...

All of those connexted to one Ltd Company

Thanks in advance

Yes- it is ok to do so - you must set this up at the beginnig though, otherwise you will have to go to companies house for a change of name form

You can have many different Trading Names - HOWEVER - you must make the customer aware that these Trading Names are under a LTD Company. The usual way is to market yourself as say ABC Goods, part of the ABC Group Ltd (or whatever the LTD name is).
