Wow you guy have it easy. Anything over 4000 Euro a year we have to register vat here in Germany. How do the government make money if they do not collect sell tax. Am I missing something in your system.
And the disadvantages? Every quarter working out what to send the VAT man, writing the cheque (lie down afterwards) and every so often a very depressing visit - they can check back as far as 5 years.
