Right, well im 14 years old as some of you already know. Ive been running an Ebay businees for a few months now. Right what do i need to do? My dad is signed up for self employed. And whats the legal age to run a business ?? ?

Get your dad to talk to someone at the tax office, they will give you all the info you need and they're
usually very helpful.

18 to be a registered business owner isnt it?

For legal reasons id think, Look at that thread with jake bevon at 17?!

There is no age limit where the government can tax you on your income. So sureley you can be a soletrader or something at 14?

You need to be over 16, because it is the law that you should be in full time education upto that point. After that point you can register as self employed using HMRC online registration pages.

I'm sure you can register as being self-employed prior to 16, you must be 18 thought to be a company director.

You cant be self employed whilst in full time education
