Default VAT return on vehicle

Hello! I bought a van this month and I will move this van abroad. It will be registered next year outside of EU. When van will leaving country will I able to claim VAT back or not? I'm not VAT registered. I have invoice for that van as well.
Any help please?

You can never claim VAT back unless you are VAT registered as far as I am aware

If you would be vat registered you could claim it back only if you are buying it for business but you are not vat registered so the answer is no!

no you wouldn't be able to as others have said, you are not VAT registered.

Thank you for all this asnwers. But when you are foreign and buying things at shops you can claim VAT back when you leaving country.And you don't have to be VAT registered. So I'm thinking when I will leaving UK why not claim VAT back? Thanks!

What you say apply only when you are moving outside EU.

IF you register with VAT.

Why dont you just give a quick call Revenue office and ask them ??
