I'm looking in to branching out and setting a friend up in Australia offering products that I currently import from China to the UK. He is on a 2 year visa, working toward residency but his girlfriend has agreed to use her name and address.

I was wondering what we could get away with sending as a sample to begin with to test the water. Secondly, if we find there is a market, are the procedures and costs similar to those in the UK?

Thanks

first thing to do is just send a sample by post to them from UK, if its a goer then you can look at all the charges etc then but take one step at a time

Not realistic. It is an electrical item and requires an aussie plug. To get it here and then from here over to there will be a massive waste of money.

Im thinking 50 items at a cost of £1250 as a sample. Am I dreaming lol? Has anyone shipped to AUS from China while based in the UK before?
