Hi guys,

I'm sure you get loads of this but hey, here I am and I've never been the irritating newbie here yet so here goes.

I'm looking to set up an onlince trading business, hopefully importing from cheaper parts of the world. I'm not an inexperienced businessman, I already own 2 successful restaurants and have both a web design company and music promotions company that I sold on for good profit. I'm looking to invest a few quid, have some technical know how when it comes to web building and marketing and reasonable business knowledge when it comes to operational issues.

I'm just looking for advice from more experienced heads than mine in what kind of goods render decent profit ratios and what people think of trade networks like tradekey and made-in-china.com

Please feel free to treat me like someone with zero knowledge, I am not your grandma and have no aversion to being told how to suck eggs

yeah, I kind of figured that musthavemobiles as soon as I posted but there you go. I've spent a good while searching around on here now and it seems a pretty good source of info I have to say. I'm pretty determined to have a go at retailing (on line physical or whatever ) and reckon I've got some pretty good ideas of smaller cheaper markets to make good money on through volume.
