Hey guys and girls.

Something of an expat here. Think I (we, girlfriend and I), have spotted a bit of a niche in the plus size bra market, there is one main competitor, who aims entirely at the same market, but quite simply the prices are outrageous and designs ugly (in our minds). What we'd hope to do is be able to offer a variety of designs (nothing too complex), similar to that that Primark has (everytime we go to england my girlfriend buys half a dozen bras). We'd be looking at selling them for a similar price that smaller bras are sold at in this country, so potentially half the price that the main competitor (and other shops that stop anything in larger sizes).

Since however this is the first time we've done anything like this, and it's right at the beginning, I'm just looking around, trying to get advice, reading up on things I need to do and check out etc etc, and of course checking out just how much I could source these (or similar) for. That can then go through the taxes and transport, work out just how much I'd be paying for each item, then decide if there's enough money to be made for expenses (renting a unit) and a half decent bit of cash at the end.

Lengthy intro there, but there we go .

Thanks for all the welcomes, and I hope the venture comes too as well. Although I'm probably massively over optimistic, I could see potential for this to a national (though that's not that big) level. Obviously take time, effort and luck to get there, but I like the idea of having my own business.

Still, every journey starts with a single step. And I want to be as fully aware as possible before actually making any significant investment.
