to catch up on all the threads here!

3 days of solid meetings and then 4 days chilling at a villa with the family @ 30 degrees everyday and not a rain cloud in sight Aparently there was a little rain in the UK over the last week?!?!?

Only used my laptop once to collect my mail as I was in a 'can't be ar**d' mood. Which is very unusual for me, in fact a first.

Now I have a good few days of catching up to do

On a related note, anyone else off to the Electronics Show in HK this October? My tickets arrived while I was away, and they are free. IF you want the details let me know.

I did wonder where our MOTM had gone too.

Did you have a nice holiday? I hope you didn't come back to a floating house.. Parts of Yorkshire and other areas are still 4-6ft under!!

Unfortunately I am still here to wear my MOTM crown for the last few days. I am just about to polish it ready to hand over to the next and more worthy July winner.

Fortunately they have SKY TV in Spain I did take my daily fix of Sky News in the morning. The Holiday part was great, too good infact (i'm normally bored after a few days!), thanks for asking.

hehe.. I never usually manage to go away without signing in every few days.. When I can get access that is.

Sky is a UK only service, hope you weren't watching it at your property...

@ Anthony: To be honest I normally login to my mails daily while away. I can have Broadband installed but as I only use my place once ot twice a year it is not worth it as it's quite expensive because of the backwards cabling system they have!

As it happens I have just bought a 18db Wifi Yagi antenna to test on our new pemises. If it works as well as I have heard (up to 5m line of site but I will believe it when I see it!), I will stick one on the roof in spain. Imagine the access points you could pick up with that!

The missus wouldn't be too keen as I wouldn't be able to help myself and stay glued to my laptop! However as I said, it was quite nice to switch off for a few days and let others handle the stress. Everytime I go I consider relocating there for longer periods (all summer) as it's only 2.5 hours away by Ryanair. However with 90% of my client base in the UK it would become a nightmare logistically at some stage.

@ Pioneering Products: Yes we have Sky installed at my place and although it is a UK service, the signals happen to travel to Spain quite nicely. It must have been freak weather conditions
