Hi,
Has anyone recently been getting problems with Sky Broadband? The weather has been very poor and my line seems to have been affected by high winds etc. I keep on getting disconnected to. Anyone else who has Sky Broadband experiencing this as well?

Thanks.

Not an answer to your question, but if your able to change ISP. Switch over to Fast. The connection is excellent, never known it to disconnect (under any weather conditions). The customer service is faultless, you can pick up the phone and talk to someone right away. They also give you honest answers, not telling you to buy one of their £80 routers (BT!). Pricing is also competitive. Couldn't ask for more really!

Thanks PT Games for the suggestion. But Fast have download limits on all of their packages, and I ain't to keen on limits. And to make it worse, I just found that Sky have a 12 month minimum contract when you sign up to their broadband service. Seems I'll have to wait for a year or so

as a bt eng the problem lies with bt wholesale who you can not get in contact with this is upto your isp to do that.all broadband connection are run and owned by bt wholesale if they run over a bt line.you best bet is to try the router direct into the test socket first when this problems occurs(check out samknows.com on how to test your apps)if its still happen contact your isp and they will send a openreach eng out if theproblem is found to be with in your house/office they will charge you £116 per or part hr plus £99.18 call out fee if its not your fault there will be no charge to you but weather problems are the hardest to prove hope this helps if you need anymore help pls feel free to pm me
