Would you believe that me and the wife share the same internet connection from the same room and she can get ebay but I can't - WTF?

Clear your temporary Internet files and cookies, this is more than likely the problem.

Start > Control Panel > Internet Options > Clear/Delete

Restart your PC and the router if necessary too.

Looks like my router or cable modem are faulty - will have to look into it later today.

Wifes connection died within seconds of me posting
