infinity ward have said they will not be punishing the players for breaking the date's they had it on twitter few days ago. They are going straight for the retailers for breaking the rules

PC registration servers won't allow registration until release

I know some people that have had it since Thursday for the PS3, was expecting mine this morning but nothing as yet. Will go to the midnight release and sell the extra copy if it doesnt turn up by the end of the day.
