oh i know you wasn't being funny im just in no mood to accept this as a loss. thats a full 2 days profit down the pan due to some scruffy get who knows how to hack someone's paypal account or even a clever person who knows how to get round paypal and make a chargeback

I simpathise with you mate, I cant stand using paypal (as a seller) but there is very little other options, if you dont use it people question this and you loose on a potential sale, you do use it and everything is in the buyers favour,

recently i had 3 refunds to do, and paypal have refunded them all twice! thats 50 quid il prob never see again.
any way dont wanna turn this into a rant just want to say your not the only one.
Hope it all works out for you. good luck!

just works out as 20 sales to get the money back. Ive just had to send an email to all my customers saying i have moved to google checkouts. only thing i can think of that will be as trustworthy in the eyes of the seller plus the extra visibility and a google adwords voucher goes in my favour

Its all a learning curve. At the moment you will feel angry and frustrated. When calm sit down, speak to some people in this field and see if you can work out a better way of purchase procedure. It would seem the best way would be to post the codes registered but they may be other methods. Try not to let this beat you, turn it round.

they sided with me this time so there is a way round these chargebacks
i had 2 before hand but the codes had not been used so i sold them on and then issued a refund
my only problem with another payment method is that i buy my codes using paypal so i would have no way round this other than to load my balance from my bank to my paypal meaning a day or two without codes

how did you use to sell them? i am trying out my own site and was doing well on ebay but found there fees equalled more than what i made in profit think after paying them i had made £2.20! there must be other places where it is free to sell that are popular
