Post number 192 in the Gold Civati thread, posted by member mt99 says....

My comments about Emily is not based on this problem, which fortunately Nicky has resolved without much fuss.

They are based on a previous transaction between myself and Emily alone.

Details will be revealed either once i have been given the ok from the admin team or this issue is resolved by myself or Emily.

But for now, well done to Nicky for sorting this issue out without any hassle.

There was one other person who claimed they had a dispute with Emily, but she has never been a paid advertiser on here. So I can't see how this has got anything to do with TWF management. If people decide to trade between themselves thats there lookout. Nothing to do with TWF.

So we have all jumped on the band wagon have we? Fking hell, this is meant to be a business forum for traders and suppliers and people to get help, not people making jag off comments about someone, without any information.

Christ if there person has an issue, why not just sort it privatly. If i got something from curry's and didnt like the price, i wouldnt publish it in the daily mail.

Without any facts, all this causes is trouble!!!

Nice one ADC thanks for having the guts to start this thread, as i was comtemplating it earlier on....(although prob not with that title)

I really feel the forum is going pear shaped, which is very very sad as i love this site. Its a great resource and with 40,000 members that shows.

But there is something funny going on lately, that does not allow us to have our say, so i really hope this thread is not pulled.

Without mentioning names there have been several advertisors of late that should have been relieved of their membership status, but haven't. Also there are members on here providing a service without an advertising membership :O!!!!!

It is wrong and annoys people like me who actually pay for this status and conduct themselves honestly and to the best of their abilities.

There seriously needs to be a far more strict compliance for advertising status, and i know Anthony perhaps does not have the time as it is a full time job to vet the new members. Let alone into advertising status.
Which brings me to say maybe its the time to bring a couple more people on board in the Mod/admin category?

I myself am very wary to deal with anyone on here, even though they have the advertising banner!
I have been burned by some advertisors yes, and as of late i have seen others go through the same thing.

Something has to be done.....

So as long as the deals are done out of public sight you would say its ok and everyone should be allowed to do this?

In that case whats the point of the advertising memberships?

Simply put... It is against the forums user agreement for any non advertiser to offer any goods or services to another member regardless of how they are contacted.... NO EXCEPTIONS!

So if someone contacts a non- advertiser and asks them what they can offer, they must decline????

Totally agreed with you there Trace. But one thing he could do about the advertisers, which wouldn't take any more work, in fact less work, is let people have their say, without threads being close and posts being be deleted.
