Is this a newer version of the KA08?

The standard version only has a 2.4" screen and a 0.3mp camera. ?

Yes this is a 'newer' or 'different version' to the original KA08. So indeed the specification is different.

I would suggest you up your price a good bit. There isn't a chinese phone available with that spec of camera for under 150 squids.

Am surprised that there hasn't been an announcement about this spec/price - it would take the mobile phone world by storm. You are onto a winner if its gen.You're not just believing a chinese supplier here are you - you have checked you can get more than 640 x 480 out of a KA08 ?

Unfortunately the camera was one of the only things I did not test exactly, now from past experiences I am assuming but not entirely sure that it will be software enhanced and thus 640x480. However I will update this as soon as the stock arrives, just to clarify.

It is quite simply the KA08, as you've seen many images. Just a different version, thus some aspects might be different when comparing the specification to others.
