are you sure they are authentic Sony.

well i know that sony works on a profit margin of about 2.9 $to 3% on everything they will sell. They are trying to increase that to 4% soon..so judging from just that, John's price seems pretty reasonable.
sony sells them at a high price at retail of course..but at wholesale, they make a hell of a lot less money...margins for that mentioned above ^^^^

Same question here, how could we be sure that they are authentic?

This only sells for $120 at BIN on ebay, but I guess many of those are fakes from HK/CHINA.
Is there a way we can tell the difference between the fake ones and authentic pro duo sticks?

Most ebay ones are fake ones from China. Fakes range from not being high speed to being less GB than adverised to being generic ones painted with the sony logo.

i was under the impression nobody had cracked the coding on duo sticks yet and the only ocmpany who had it was sandisk as thye paid?

I've seen these memory sticks on eBay. Some are have the Sony name, etc in gold paint whilst others have silver/beige paint.

Is this a distinguishing factor?
