for 2 gig ones with cam if i bought ten what would be the total price includuing dilivery tax duty eand what would that be each and what would you recamend i sell them for

£270 + £5.40 (duty @ 2%) + £41.31 (VAT @ 15%) = £316.71 total

Where would you be hoping to sell them?

You have to remember that ebay is full of Hong Kong sellers so its a tough market.

how come there just as cheap on ebay as from you on ebay do you still pay the vat after the price do you have a website

If there prices are under the Tax exempt limit then no but the majority aren't under the limit so would have to pay tax yes if customs stopped the goods, they are however under the duty limit.

The HK seller prices on ebay are cheaper because the dollar rate isn't as good as it used to be and these sellers do not have to show the price of VAT on there advertisements. Before VAT & Import duty the 2GB units with cameras are £27 each delivered from me which is less than the Hong Kong sellers are supplying them.

The only way to beat them is to purchase in larger numbers. Plus it might be worth conisdering studies which have said most buyers would be prepared to pay that little bit extra to get them next day delivery and from a UK seller.

To be honest if you want to make money it is possible to do that with these units lots of people here are, you just have to think outside of the box and sell outside of ebay.

Anthony has my details if I was to scam you he could easily find me. If you would prefare, I could sell you these through ebay for protection but you would have to be willing to pay the advertising and selling fees up front.

My website is under construction but having one wouldn't make me less of a scammer. If you would like proof of address you are welcome to send me a stamped envelope and I will send you it back.

I explained the import tax and duty for both of your enquiries?

If you are asking me to work out the import tax and duty on someone elses products then I suggest you hit

start>all program>Accessories>calculator

and use the percentage figures I gave earlier.

The import tax and duty will be paid by you on receipt of delivery the price you pay me is the price shown on the thread without import duty and tax.
