Is eBay the only place to sell? Do you have to be the cheapest?

How many times does the above have to be repeated on these forums!

No eBay isnt the only place to sell, but it is one of the most easiest and fastest ways to sell goods, and no you dont have to be the cheapest but believe me it certinaly does help ALOT when selling these types of goods.

i think most you see on ebay are not the same spec as petes ie different menu no camera etc i buy these from pete and i sell them at £50 each for a 2gb.
ive only just started selling these and i have only had a few but they do sell straight away when i get them and they always sell between £50/£45. (not on ebay)

This question comes up all the time, and certainly not just with my offerings.

I can't tell you how to compete, as you are not comparing apples to apples.

Others seem to be telling you they can sell them on ebay.

I have been making a full-time living online for years and have never sold the first thing on ebay, so life without ebay is possible.

This is a constant thing "How can I compete on Ebay at these prices". What are the suppliers on here supposed to do? Take a loss so people can make a £1 profit on in the busiest market on the planet?
Ebay is easy yep and there is the problem, some people think they dont need to work, they can just stick up a listing and sit back and watch the millions roll in.
If these prices are too expensive go direct. There are loads of factories etc selling MP3 players, make a deal with them and you might get a cheap deal.
I dont sell a thing on Ebay yet I am selling these 4GB models no problem and shifted some of the 8GB for €75.
Not every person in the world shops on Ebay.
