Bit off topic but...

I bought my PS3 on the realese day. Got it working etc, but on Thursday, I turned it on and it said the Hard Drive is corrupt, and forces me to restore. I press restore, wait a few mins, and then console restarts. After the restart, the same message appears again

There is no way I can access the PS3 menu as I get this menu, so is there any way to format my Hard Drive without going into the menu?

Well, I am going to ring the SONY helpline now, and see what they suggest!
