It was announced today that the much anticipated Apple iPhone will be released in the UK on Friday November 9th 2007. It will be available excuslively on the O2 mobile phone network and prices will start from £269 for the 8MB model.

The iPhone will have 3 simple and tariffs at £35, £45 and £60 per month with “all you can eat” pricing for Internet browsing. And as a UK first, iPhone customers will have unlimited access to over 7,500 public Wi-Fi spots included in their monthly tariff.

You will be able to buy the iPhone online from the Apple Store, O2 direct and the Carphone Warehouse group, which includes E2Save.

I am already getting inundated with product requests for this one, will also be a minefield for the newbie buyer as the scammers are really jumping on the bandwagon....I've had close to 500 emails already from scammers via my mobile sites alone.

I'd say a phone that does anything but phone calls is a "fashion phone". What's wrong with the Nokia 3310 ?!?
