Ive just got back in from Ayia Napa, I've been crawling the pubs wearing a kilt!
|
I bet you looked pretty normal compared to some of the sights you see in napa,is the bedrock bar still going strong?I hated climbing that hill up to the square every night to get to the bars,ok on the way back as you can roll down.

Haha, yeah, that hill gets pretty strenuous after a few pints!
I actually havent been to the bedrock for a while, however, I've been invited to a Bar Opening in Ayia Napa tonight and if I remember, i'll take a look.
I did couple the kilt with a big scottish tartan hat, so, I was quite a sight!

I will enjoy the long summer afternoons and evening. Get plenty of exercise cycling and use the car less (only for shopping). This would help me save money on the high fuel costs in the UK.

Summer.... whats that.... only got 3 seasons here.... rainy season... cool season... and hot season.... only got 3 temperatures too..... hot.... very hot.... and open the fridge Im getting in
Cool season will see a temp of about 20c if your fortunate... well for a few days maybe
Rainy season is about 30c varying on rainfall [usually rains for 20mins or so per day]
Hot season will see anything up to 45c ish but its not the heat here its the humidity thats the downside [shame I hear you all cry]
Spend most days lazing or by the pool, sometimes the better half takes me shopping [not that I get a choice] and complains if I buy anything, so I just find a bar and a bottle of wine, get out the cigars and wait for her to "shop" then home for a bbq .... king tiger prawns and fish and finish off with silk worms.
Its a hard life and I would rather suffer than inflicting it on you guys

Geosamm, I would like to thankyou for all you "suffer" in your end of the world, but any time you would like to swap, then i'm sure there are lots of in the UK that would be willing for you to inflict your horrible situation on us

So how you guys doing in the UK? Bit hot out here.
Just been to Aya'Nappa (came back early though, its 11pm here). Very hot, still! Lots of nice ladies (shame, I'm with my girlfriend!). Hiring an on-road quad tomorrow, should be fun.
Would reccomed this place to anyone, very nice indeed.
Thought I'd say hello anyway.
