I don't get it, it says the seller dropped the lawsuit, does that mean the buyer doesn't have to pay?

Yes. The case was dropped but it still cost the buyer $500 in attorney fees... which I think was the point of the whole thing.

Seems very weird. Feedback is how you think the transaction went. Merely an opinion is it not?

True but if you had a steller FB score, say 100% positive, you might be a bit upset if someone leaves you a neutral, doesn't email to discuss the problem, and there is no way for you to leave them FB. So as a seller, you're stuck.

Once again, Ebay's brilliance shines through...
