Default Apple loves you too!

I’m posting this to start a discussion; I would love to see where this goes and get everyone’s feed back. The organization of this piece may be a little off but so is everything in this line of business. We’re all starting a revolution of how global business is done, on every level.
I have read through many post and done countless hours of research on leads and suppliers. Thinking sometimes I‘m chasing a ghost and/or soon the bottom is going to fall out. All of this research and speculation has got he brain stirring. Some days are better than others as are the supplier we deal with. I believe we are all part of Apples genius marketing plan.
Why wouldn’t apple want this to all to happen? The demand for their products is beyond what they had planned or is it. They have everyone from authorized apple brick and mortar stores (big box and small), brokers, resellers, consumers, and anyone or anything slightly associated with the MP3 market begging for these items. My local computer store which sells apple and many other brands is completely sold out of everything ipod. The owner said to me today, “I’d buy 1500 ipod nanos today if I could get them.” This guy has everything apple produces in his store and he can’t get his hands on enough stock of the ipod. In his store windows, all you can see are big cardboard displays and ads for the nano or the video. Those displays alone has brought in hundreds if not thousands of customers over the last month or so. Apple has been branded into the heads of millions of people because of the ipod. Next time anyone goes to buy a new computer, what brand do you think they’ll have in mind?
Apple has now dominated the market in every conceivable way. On every level they are out there right in your face. Ipods on numerous primetime television shows and on these shows the ipod has a large up front role with a good amount of time dedicated just to their ipod, and then they go to commercial and there’s more ipod. You go to ebay and ipods are on the home page and there are millions of users worldwide who are forced to see this ad for the ipod (which is probably free). I get 15 plus offers for free ipods everyday in my email. I could go on, but I think you get the point.
So, why wouldn’t apple want to dominate every possible outlet of sales and advertising medium? They know people like us want ipods to resell. I wouldn’t be surprised if they have reps out there pushing these items out to brokers. It’s not like Apple is really worried about them selling below retail price or tarnishing the Apple image. Just look at ebay now, nanos are going for over $300. Before Christmas they’ll be $400 on ebay. If they didn’t let the ipod leak all over the ebay online auction selling medium, they’d be missing out on a huge market. Apple can’t just concentrate on the authorized stores, they have to feed the beast and in return they will become the beast. Apple is on its way to market domination and not just MP3 market. Their marketing is genius.
Apple is looking out for us; they know what they’re doing. They are distributing to every level and doing so in rations. The big guys and the small guys are all on the same playing field when you really think about it. Some may have more to invest but its all relative.
In conclusion, keep your heads up. There are good deals out there from legit suppliers. There are also many scammers out there, as we all know. But, this medium of selling is just as much needed by Apple and other big manufactures, as any wal-mart, best buy, and so on. As I said before, we’re all part of revolution in how big business does business. If you had a product, would you want 1000 people and/ or stores selling for you, or would you want 100,000 or a million. Things will only get easier for all of us.

amen about everything except the part about computers, i cant see apple computers being popular in anything exept business and design for now. My parents have been using computers for 10 years now and they still dont know their way round windows let alone shoving a Mac infront of them, lol.

Also, games developers wont remake their games in opengl for apple untill there is a big enough market for it and that huge gaming market wont become available untill the games are available, lol. its that circle that i can see will make macs unpopular for the time being.

actually, the more i take a look around the more macs i can see. over half the computers at my college are macs. i have 2 notebooks/laptops: one an ibook and a windows based HP..i love working on the ibook. i've never had any issues with it. on the other hand: as soon as i turn on my windows based notebook i dread the beeping and the crashing and the general nuances that come with windows. I also have 3 versions of Linux(all free!) installed on that laptop and they work better than windows!..and im happy to say that im gradually moving away from windows for good.
my suggestion: move away from windows and start using Apple. If there is a good enough demand, game developers will just switch over to where the money is.
come on!
