I've been trying to come up with a new look and feel for MorePoker.Net and my mind is just ready to explode.

I was thinking a portal format would be nice but no matter what I try it doesn't seem right. Web design has to be the thing I hate most about working online....

It looks great. It's nice and clean. Leave it alone and concentrate on starting up another source of income.

That's my best advice.

If you concentrate on one thing for too long, you end up screwing it up and you use up time that you could be utilising for earning more. Or simply for spending time in the sunshine!

Sounds to me like you need a day off. Come visit me. I don't mind taking time off!

I am an anal retentive with this stuff so you got my number there. However the plan is to make this more of a link blog/portal for all things poker.

This means very little actual content but with plenty of links and pictures to other sites and articles. The format the site is in doesn't really lend itself to that.

I'm looking at
http://www.betterwebspace.com/Templates/in...wt&title=Portal

These give lots of room for links to other sites. Am I making sense or has my brain just melted. I need to go watch some TV....

I'm a great believer in K.I.S.S.

If that ever stops bringing in the dollars, I'll go complex.
Until then, I'll carry on doing minimum work for maximum return.

Run that by me in English. What are these "hardly not" articles that you need to write?

Got to admit, I don't know what you mean by that.

I think you're correct. You need to step away from your computer for a good day or so. Step back and take time to chill and maybe your answers will come to you. You're probably looking at it too hard.

I think your poker site is excellent. So don't change it too much

I was going to email you a couple of questions but while I'm here I may as well ask you. It's about Rory Monahan's eBook. Would you recommend? Is the link on your site an affiliate one or do you have an affiliate link I can use? What other books / eBooks do you recommend?

Keep up the good work on the site.

Steve T

Steve, basically a portal or link blog is more about providing links to all the greatest news and topics being talked about as opposed to writing lengthy articles.

For example: http://www.gawker.com

This site provided small news bites with links to other sites for more detailed info. Despite not providing detailed articles this site has an average of 135,568 visitors a day.

I have managed to put something together from a template I bought and some of my own work - I think it looks great. I'll let everyone know when it's up and running.

As far as Rory's ebook, wow!!!

This thing really helped me improve my game. Just this weekend I finished 10th out of 1000 in a NL Holdem Tournament on http://www.betfredpoker.com

My link: http://www.morepoker.net/holdem-secrets.html

Oh.

You can write "hardly any" or "almost no" but "hardly no" isn't English.
