I noticed that John B. mentioned in his signaturue that he has a call name for Skype, and I was just wondering if anyone else uses it, and what is it like in terms of quality?

I started using it recently. I have had intermittent connection problems but once it is working it is fantastic. I call a friend in Australia and we can chat for hours without it costing a penny because we both have Skype.

I started using it a few months ago, although i havn't been using it as recently. But as karen says, its great talking to your friends and it not costing a penny!

How does it work? is it like msn or do you get a 'real' phone number to use? can you give this number out to non-skype users?

I have it on my Pocket PC but I only use it, when I remember I seem to keep forgetting to activate it.

Seems a good bit of kit though

I use it. Great software.

I tend to find there's slight lag when using it to call land lines, though.
