Large electronics firm/retailer enters administration today..

As many peepz now.. that on going efforts for retailers like Currys, PC World, Comet etc.. are finding trading times very hard to get customers...

Sad to see Empiredirect to go.. but i knew they was going to go one day

Sad news for the employees.. so i will visit local ED stores to see on any sales or anything reasobnable priced stuff..

Not a good year.. very gloomy 2009!

Who'd want to trade in branded electronics on margins thinner than 2 coats of paint in this climate.

There will be a few more of these companies going.

Big Argos distribution centre nearby has just announced it's cutting 200 staff, cash is king, get anything owed asap, things are going to be rough for a couple of years.

Yep.. i also see Land of leather went few days ago... all bad news.. but what will us peepz be left with,, just a dark black hole... no shops, no spending at places.. eeehhh very scary.

Heard a lot about RBS as well. Whats going on with them? Are they cutting off some jobs as well?
