Keep or refund your Michael Jackson Tickets
AEG have announced that anyone who has tickets for MJ concerts can either have a refund or keep your ticket as a souvenir.
It's a bit of a dilemma, if all 750,000 people keep them they may not be worth very much. But if the majority take a refund then they might be worth quite a bit in a few years. Then you have to remember he was a global superstar, so all those Michael Jackson fans in the USA might want to get there hands on them.
Put them on ebay.com in a few years you could make a few grand.
Just wondered what everyone else was going to do?

Re: Keep or refund your Michael Jackson Tickets
I can't see that many keeping them. The die hard fans may. Percentages wise, perhaps 5% of tickets will be kept?

There is only one winner from this investment!
Serious money spinner from AEG (and a chance to recoup some of the million dollars expenses they have lost on the promotion!).

Re: Keep or refund your Michael Jackson Tickets
Very few people will keep their tickets.
Those that do, won't be worth very much for many years.

Re: Keep or refund your Michael Jackson Tickets
I've decided to keep hold of mine, what's a lousy £75 in regards to a memory of a lifetime and respect to a music legend. The other 3 I purchased however will be getting refunded.

Re: Keep or refund your Michael Jackson Tickets
Just been trawling the net and seeing what the value of Elvis tickets was after his death. Not much it turns out. About $200 to $400. And that is 32 years later!
http://en.allexperts.com/q/Presley-E...icket-1977.htm
Then i suppose there would have been a lot more Jacko tickets sold than Elvis at that time, so that might knock the value down even further.
But was Jacko a bigger superstar than Elvis?
I reckon I might keep one of my 4 and refund the rest.

Nope. But he wasn't a million miles away.
I can't see them being worth anymore than their current face value in 30 years.
To be fair to Michael Jackson though, there are very few artists in history who could sell out 50 shows...... In fact, he's probably the only one.

I'd say he was. Depends what class as big and what are you basing it on. Record sales? I am sure Elvis would be wat behind MJ in that department.

Re: Keep or refund your Michael Jackson Tickets
I am happy to stand corrected as I wasn't sure. Although MJ has the biggest selling album of all time.
The title 'biggest' can mean anything, what I was basically saying was biggest what?
