Cruijf also said today, the first matches of the tournament are normally not played that well; especially when it's played in the afternoon with temperatures like 30C.

Argentina have been the pick of the bunch so far, lots to play for yet though. Germany scored a lot of goals couple of quality ones too, if they can shore up that defence they could be in with a real chance.

U S A! U S A! U S A!

Guess you know who I'm going for. My second favorite team would probably be Germany, then Spain, and then England. But, I'm pretty sure the US is going to win...

Fully agree with you on that, I loved Côte d'Ivoire - Argentina; in my opinion it was, like you said, the best match so far. But hey, we're just started, many (unexpected) things might happen.

I think these teams will qualify:

Group A
Germany
Ecuador

Costa Rica
Poland

Group B
Engeland
Sweden
Trinidad & Tobago
Paraguay

Why TnT? Because they proved to be able to keep the goal clean against a country such as Sweden, which in my opinion has better striking qualities than England has, so with a little luck they'll manage to go on to the next round.

Group C:
Argentina
Netherlands
Côte d'Ivoire
Serbia & Montenegro

Group D:
Mexico
Portugal

Angola
Iran

Group E:
Italy
Ghana
Czech Republic
US

Might also be Czech and Ghana, rather than Italy.

Group F:
Brazil
Croatia
Australia
Japan

Bear mind Brazil lost with 3-1 against Argentina last year.

Group G:
France
Switzerland
Korea Republic
Togo

Group H:
Spain
Ukraine
Tunesia
Saudi Arabia

Youv'e picked out some good choices there apart from
Group A
Costa Rica instead of Ecuador
Group B
Sweden instead of TnT
Group E
USA instead of Czech
