hi all as a scotsman i wish england all the best but i cannot listen to mark lawrenson any longer who does he think he is,disgarding teams like mexico and usa who are higher up in the world rankings than england im sorry but this is englands downfall in football no respect to other teams,u cant go around saying were england we are better than you,when the fifa ranking does not lie,sorry mr lawrenson but gone are the days of where england we turn up and beat you,show respect to your opponents and they will do better,its time for england to show on the park how good they are compared to guys like lawrenson talking them up to being the best team in the world,talk is cheap and to many times england have fell at the hurdle when required to prove they are the best.most people in scotland really want england to do well we just cant stand listening to these commentators showing a clear lack of respect to other nations,until england prove it they are not better than usa and teams like mexico,im glad i got that off my chest as i will support england on the tv tommorrow with the sound firmly off.

Yeah, I'm with you cleetis. There's nothing wrong with people wanting England to win, but the expectation is a bit ott. You would've thought the last 30 years would teach us that we're not the best!

I gotta say, I enjoyed the game Germany - Costa Rica. Four goals in the first game is quite alright for us, but our defence could be a lot better...
