Why is it not right?
Change jobs if your not satisfied.
£2,000 worth is how much profit?
Dont make the mistake of thinking what is in the till is profit.

Re: Rant Rant Rant
Why don't you take all the knowledge you have gained at the shop, and put it to good use?
Get in touch with a sports wholsaler, someone like UK sportswarehouse, and sell the products yourself, either online or in the local area.
Look at it this way, JJB pay rubbish wages, but you have gained so much product knowledge from them, that you can go and earn more.
When I was training as an electrician I was on absolutly rubbish pay. Think it was £5 an hour for 6 years! I got all my papers, and a few more than the standard. Left the job when training complete, as they offered me £6.50 an hour, went straight out and got a job paying £18 an hour. I made sure to let them know, as my boss was my brother!

Thanks, but I knew that could be earned. About a year before I finished my main training. I did a course called a C+G 2391. This is for inspection and testing. I knew when I left the company this would be the most valuable one.
The point i'm making here, is that while your young, use the company the best you can. Get on first aid courses, find out about all the products, talk to sales reps, drink all their coffee and eat all their biscuits! Never mind about the wages, the experience is more valuable than that. Once you have that, move on to something else.
I couldn't sell a pair of football boots to anyone, and have no idea how to size them. If I now wanted to find out how to do that, it would mean going on a course, or getting a job there.

Re: Rant Rant Rant
I worked in Mcdonalds for £3.75 p/h when I was 16 and that was working very hard work (in terms of utter crapness and non stop).
On occassions I worked open till close with breaks taken off it was 16 hours for about £60. Crazy looking back.
Just be happy you are working atm.
