Here's one of the great questions the book asks you 'How many cigarettes a day do you actually enjoy? Not just the first drag when your body gets the nicotine its craving, the whole cigarette.'

That should be the title of it

And that's how I feel which guarantees that I'll never ever do it again!

After been 'free' of them for two years, I'd be real disappointed in myself if I started them again.

To tell you the truth I don't really, I have had the urge twice. Once after my mates little girls funeral and after my dad's funeral, they are bit of a crutch I suppose.
The second time I gave them up, every morning I coughed up what can only be described as black lumps (nasty I know). This was a big factor in staying of them.

I've seen a huge difference, not as lethargic in the morning, enjoying meals more etc. I used to rush through lovely meals, thinking on getting a fag and a cup of coffee afterwards. I wouldn't get into the whole health debate, all I know is I feel better.

I agree with every word and can relate to it also.

By far the worst periods are times of high stress. These moments have derailed my efforts to pack in more than once.

I do enjoy a cigarette and I'm well aware of the risks. As already mentioned by Andy and Pete and it's certainly true in my experience,it's not the addiction that's the hardest to overcome,it's the habit.

Good luck to anybody that's packing in.

Alan Carr's book is a good thing to have lying around the house, it lay around my house for months before I picked it up out of boredom. When someone gave it to me first, I thought ****** that, I love smoking and I don't want to get brainwashed by some book, lol.

I gave it to my sister-in-law afterwards, as she's a heavy smoker also. Its lay in a drawer in their kitchen for over three years, if she want's to pick it up she'll pick it up. From my experience you can't persuade someone to pack them in if they're not ready.
