I've found auctioncheckout.com to be a pretty good payment alternative. The have some type of deal with ebay and overstock auctions. It's pretty simple...basically a merchant processor.

I use Propay.com for payments on my web site. They're a 3rd party merchant service like PayPal, but it works seamlessly with your web site. You can log in to charge a CC if you have the info as well. Propay is better for smaller merchants since you have to pick one of 4 plans that each have a monthly and transaction limit.

However there are other advantages - you can transfer money to any bank account for $0.30 or to other Propay members for free (much better than paying wire fees or PayPal which charges fees even for existing funds).

I'd recommend this to anyone with a relatively low volume site or if you need to make payments to people's bank accounts.
www.propay.com.

Hope this helps.

Remote basket seems to be a shoping cart anybody have a good Merchant account that will pay weekly. I found several but they all pay within 2 weeks and you all know how hard that could be in this buisness.

Just like the supliers in this buisness the merchant accounts are also something to watch out for. I've lost $ to merchant accounts before. This is why i'm looking for a solid one. So far looks like the best way is to get one from the bank.

I am quite surprised that www.moneybookers.com is not in the list... Have used it and it worked well!

I like Moneybookers too. Very reliable, low fees and clearly informed.

My site currently works by accepting PayPal and Nochex payments. Customers select what one they wish to use during checkout then get directed the appropriate page.
Because PayPal and Nochex don’t require you to have an account to use there services, would an IMA like Worldpay offer any benefits to myself or my customers?

Thanks.

^^i think with worldpay and other mechant account services, you can impliment them so your cusomer never like leaves your site, all that stuff is done in the back ground which in my opinion looks much more porfessional than being displayed with a paypal and nochex screen.

however alot of disadvantages like worldpay can hold your money for up to 4 weeks.

best is to have a merchant account with your bank and use worldpay or someone similar as a psp (payment service provider). that way the money will be within your business bank account within 3 working days (as im being told by streamline)

I think these payment processor should also be included in that list; Multicards, ChronoPay, Velocitypay, SecPays, Protex and few others that might be missing here.
