Default opening a german bank account

I live in england and have no address in germany.

Is there anyway to open a german bank account?

Has anyone done this?

What do you need it for, to have an account in Germany or a Euro currency account?

need an account in germany. Basically I sell on amazon.de and they will only send your money to a german bank account.

thanks I had a look but chronopay dont seem to be what im after

Basically I need a German bank account with a german sort code and german account number

Ive contacted Abbey HSBC Barclays Deutsche bank commerzbank and more But none of them can help. Im running out of hope

Can anyone shed any light on this?

yes ive already tried hypovereinsbank they have branches in the uk but only for corporate clients £50+ million only.

You mean to say you haven't made £50 million off amazon.de yet, you msut be going wrong somewhere. LOL. It does seem ludicrous that something that looks so simple is almost impossible to sort out.

BAL, I am very very surprised HSBC could not help you , Did you ring them or go into a branch, I would try them again as it may have been the person you were talking too did not know what they were talking about
