Default IBan payment method?

Hi,
Can anyone tell me if this payment method is safe to use from Uk to Europe?
as i never used this type of payment before..

I know very little on this ..but i wanted to know how really safe is it? i mean would the uk bank follow up if there where any problems..is there any protection for buyers/sellers?

Also wanted to know whats there charges or should i say our uk bank charge to send funds..
And Before you say (any sarky members) thats what the "search" button for im just being a lazy so and so today lol

Sorry to ask and if its a silly Question/s then just slam me

Thanks

International Bank Account Number (IBAN) is basically an account number for international payments? So you mean TT payment?

TT Payments should only be sent to companies you can trust as they are irreversible.

It's right, you should only use it for legit sellers, but if so, it is a very good method because the fees are nearly nothing (depending on bank).

my bank charges a flat rate of 20GBP. however, be prepared for the exchange rate, if your sending local currency to be a bit different than XE.com..

not bad at all!
geez, im changing banks! my current high st bank didnt even have the courtesy to infom me of a transfer payment failure. and the charges (when it was successful) were more than double that of HSBC. It takes three days to clear out of my account for TT transfers as well!
