Default Paypal Echeque??

Hi
Have just recieved a payment in the form of an echeque. I don't want this as takes too long. I asked why she sent an echeque and she said instant bank transfer option wasn't avalible??
Anyone have a clue whats wrong here?
Any help appreciated

She may have baulked at the charge for an interbank transfer if she tried to do it over the counter rather than by the internet.

She may not have an internet banking account.

She may not have a clue what she is doing. Or it may have been that she didn't fancy doing anything too quick and gave you an excuse.

Have you despatched the goods yet? Hold on to them until it's cleared. Give a few excuses back yourself, in return.

payment was by paypal not internet banking

and im definately not sending out until it is cleared, also can i make a paypal payment with my paypal balance, can someone tell me how to do it?

It's not an instant 'bank' transfer, it's instant payment via credit/debit card.

As I said she might not have a credit card on file. I would accept the payment this time and next time make sure you put no eCheques on your listing.

would i put that on my ebay listing or on the paypal site can you set preferences to deny echeques?

Ah. I understand now. I've made the same mistake. What I did was to set my business Paypal account so all is done by transfer to and from my business bank account. Now I find out it takes 3-5 working days to get anything done. I'm hoping to be able to change it.

So it's not an echeque as I understood the term. It's a request to Paypal to take money out of her account in order to pay you.

Im sorry i really dont understand, I have a premier account is there some settings i can change to stop echeques, or are you saying it isnt an echeque that has been sent?
And can i make a payment from my paypal balance not my account or card?
