Default How do you deliver via Royal Mail?

Hi,

I'd like to ask our seasoned traders how they execute their daily deliveries by Royal Mail. Do you have somebody from Royal Mail pick it up, or drive to the nearest postal office? Especially our traders that has like around 10 to 20 deliveries a day?

Thanks.

We get free collections but you can pay to have your mail picked up daily (£250 a year I think?)

I prefer taking my items to the local post office, even when I was shipping 100's of items a day I found it to be the quickest way of doing it. You build up a relationship with the postmaster, mine gave me my own till so that I could do all my own postage and he would hold the post for me until I was done.

Most are.

I can't imagine going to the post office with 100 parcels! We do all the postage in house using PPI and the packages are collected every day.

Taking 100 parcels for the post office is mad!

If you send more than 5,000 a year you qualify for Packetpost. We use it and you get good discounts on RM prices. The savings are excellent.
