Default Moneybookers - The Cheapest ! are they any cheaper ?

I think Moneybookers are 1 of the best & cheapest online payment method currently comparing to others.

I was reading an article about online payment method & would like sharing it out here:

Yep, MB is cheapest I have seen. But my experience with them aren't really good. Not that company itself is bad, no - I have never had any problems with that! The problem is that people are unaware of MB and it's very difficult to convince them to make payments via company they are not familiar with.

But maybe that's just in niche I was testing it.

That is correct, most people if not everyone I know mess with paypal which is much more reliable than MB. Now as far as the fees is concerned paypal might be much hire than MB is I'm sure.

With MB it's FREE to receive money. For sending money - only 1% (max 0.50 EUR), obviously it's much cheaper than PayPal. And they support wire transfer option for uploads/withdrawals in many countries.

Moneybookers is not free, they will charge you as a merchant at least 1,9%
just take a look at their merchant fees

http://www.moneybookers.com/app/help.pl?s=m_fees

They are still mutch cheaper and they do even charge a lower rate for currency conversion than paypal. Paypal takes 2,5%, Moneybookers only 1,75%.

But Moneybookers seem to hold a chargeback protection on 6,9% - 7,9 %!?

I did not read all their t+c, but the fee table is at least showing something like this!

MoneyBookers also does not let some countries join. It would be better to use it alongside PayPal.

I offered it for about a year and a half and received 2 payments totaling about $ 25.

Wanted to get serious with them at one point, but could not confirmed because I do not have texting enabled on my cell phone and that is the only way they do it. Figured I could do without them and closed the account.
