Don't see what the problem is with having to accept PayPal in every auction.

Exactly! What's wrong with PayPal? Are some one dreaming of a merchant account with no scammers, charge backs, with 1% transaction fees and a free dinner?

I'm fully aware of all those "scary PayPal stories" but I have never had any problems with them.
