Default Delivery options

Hi- i have a product which i am selling privately and can distribute in and around the london area as that is where i live. I charge an extra fee for delivery otherwise normal for personal collection. I am looking to expand my market and go nationwide. However for this i need a delievry courier.

The product i have is quite large :

Box size: 120X 30 X 66cm

Do you guys know of any company who offer the service of delievery. I know DHL, FEDEX and other main companies, but they are realtively expensive, unless im wrong. I heard that there are people who buy these packages of the big companies in large numbers, which allows them to get the delevery at a cheaper rate, and the offer it the public with a bit of profit. Is this correct,.

Your help is much appreciated.

With the rising fuel charges I doubt your going to get a cheaper rate than you've already got from DHL, FedEx or UPS.

the weight is around the 23-25kg mark. Rang FEDEX up and they say that i need to be a registered buisness. UPS say that i need a conifirmed sending address to find out a delivery cost.
