is true that fedex is not allowing to ship.......
Hi Friends,
Is It True That Fedex And Dhl Are Not Shipping Copies From China Due To The Olimpycs These Days???
I Had Bought Some Microsd Cards And My Provider In Hong Kong Told Me That None Of The Fedex Agency Are Receiving Copies To Ship. Or That Is Just A Trick Of My Provider To Get More Money?
The Olympics Are In Beijin, Not In Shenzhen Or Hong Kong.
What Do You Know About It????

I think your supplier is playing games.
There are no restrictions on shipping Memory cards at all. Yes if the supplier is known to be less than reputable by the shipping companies (ie has had goods inspected before and found to have shipped fakes then will have problems).
There are many carriers who would gladly pick up the load, if they are comming out of hong kong why not just use EMS SpeedPost, ive never had a problem with them, again just depends who is shipping the goods and how.

They charged me import tax twice on both ways, china and US. Here are the story, I knew there suppose to be an import tax for shipping electronic items "directly" to china, unless you have it ship to Hong Kong first and pay little money to the HK locals to bring it back for you in China but it will take couple more days for that. I am okay to pay with the tax because we need the item (iphone actually) ASAP in order to make any 3rd party accessories while the phone is just launched in 1st day. I have business in China on making and selling the electronic accessories. By the time when I shipped the phone from US to China, I already wrote down on the fedex shipping form that I am going to pay for all China Import Tax and Shipping. However, when my staff have the phone received in China, the fedex even hold our parcel and ask us for paying the China duty before they are going to release our parcel. So, we end up to pay for the duty by cash in china and at same date I found out fedex also credit the same amount money from my US credit card.
shipped the cell phones to my customer in China, by the time when I fill out their form I already mention receiver pays for the duties. Couple days later,

If they can't deliver, ask the refund.
If they refused to refund, they're scammers.

This is useless cbeebies. I am sure they do it on purpose. I even called them and dispute my credit card I just don't have my money back. The reason why I am petty sure fedex knows this because I called fedex immediately when I got double charge. The lady that listen to my call told me, "did you got double charge on the duties" right on the beginning of our phone conversation. At that time, I knew I got screw.
