Shipping within the UK - Preprinted
Hello All,
Just a quick enquiry.
We sell a lot of items that we send first class and cost us the following:
52p
£1.14
£1.45
At the moment, we are putting individual stamps on all envelopes to make up each of the amounts, however, it would be much better if we could purchase the postage preprinted in those amounts so they just have to be stuck onto the envelope. Is there a way to do this?
I don't really want to have to buy all the lables for the printing as I think this would be a pain to setup and would cause quite a few problems, but if we could purchase them already on lables ready to ship in the UK this would be great. We would then just have to put the lable on the jiffy bag and send it off.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Kind Regards
Lewis

Is there a company who can take care of all this for you?

I'm not sure what you require. Smart stamp is quick and convenient. Enter the weight and then print a sticker (stamp) on DYmo or similar. Job done.
Alternatively the best method is PPI which you need to spend over 5k a year on postage to qualify.

We have used PPI for years and incoprate the stamp automatically into a invoice with integrated labels. Just invoice, pick, pack and stick a single lable on the package with the address and PPI stamp. Easy peasy!

We are spending more than £5000 a year on stamps so I could do that... We just basically want the fastest solution for putting lables on envelopes without having to lick each individual stamp.
Can you print direct onto address lables with smart stamp? I have a dymo, but I think its broken on me because whenever I send something to print, it doesn't do anything. I'll have to check it on a non vista 64bit OS.
Cheers

IF you are spending 5k + then call royal mail and set up a ppi account. You get discounts, your own ppi stamp and you can use the .jpg or .tif and print it on whatever you like.

So do you have to pay a certain amount upfront?
Or do they just take your word for it that your spending more than 5K a month?
Cheers

You pay by account monthly in arrears like a standard account facility.
They are now very strict on the 5k a year and will kick you off the scheme if your monthly spend isn't enough.
