Default Paypal Complete /(&%/&%/(%/($$%&/$

Paypal now ranks in my top 5 of s**t companies.

After confirming bank account details and things working ok for a while they now want me to confirm my credit cards. Why??? Just take the money from the ****ing bank account you pathetic half brained pratts. Would try the call centre but dealing with morons like that would wind me up even more.
Have decided to **** them off in our store this afternoon. Did have a set up for people in the store to pay using their paypal accounts but even if it costs us a few sales i dont care its going.
What more do they want deeds to my house, car keys, letter from the Queen. How people can make a living using just that company to handle payments is beyond me.

In five years I have never had a problem with them.

Ebay, Audi (long story), LloydTSB (had bad experience when I was younger but screwed them over royally later in life) and a UK Distributor that shall remain nameless.

Decided to call and suprisingly got through, apparantly I need to add yet another card. Why? We need it for security to ensure there is enough credit. What??? So told her that both cards have about 500 each if that used and the remaining still adds up to more than she or her half brained colleagues probably earn in 4 years. Just hung up on them in the end. Who do I have to bribe at that company to get restrictions lifted, believe me not worried about doing that if thats what it takes.

Not having a good day.

I have to say - I also strongly dislike paypal, purely for their habit to limit accounts, and semi-abandon them in their limited state. So when you depend on paypal for your online ventures, it's kinda irritating.

However, due to so many people trying to commit fraud through paypal, they require strict verification. TBH, I'm suprised you've even been using your account online without them requiring your credit card details sooner. Now when you sign up an account, you have to verify pretty soon, otherwise they'll slam a limitation on you.

But really, providing CC details is one of the least stressful things paypal could have done to you

They are one of the worse run businesses in the world, I had to close my account and reopen it to add my details, Utter BS then I was told my Bank Account was in use and I got pissed off and threaten sue unless they close the other account that had nothing to do with me (I found out who set it up BTW) and in the end they finally sorted it out, But I haven't used them yet for receiving payments, I've been doing Bank transfer and Collect & Pay (If in my area).

Bottom line they make the simplest stuff hard.

I'm with greedyboy, no issues since I started using them. Sure they required extra information, as per money laundering legislation requires them to, but they have been a dream since then.

No problems here either except a few chargebacks.

No problems for me. Not for quite some time anyway and even when I did, it was all sorted within a matter of days.

I dealt with everything over the phone, so it may be worth going down that route too, if you still want to rectify the problem.

Not been using them long (for business anyway - been a personal client for as long as I remember) but I must admit it was reassuring the amount of checks they put you through to become verified etc
