I have read about online payment processors such as PayPal and 2Checkout.com, while many people use them there also seems to be many horror stories. I will soon be launching an online business and I do not want the hassles of frozen accounts like with PayPal or be ripped off. How do I go about opening a legitimate merchant account for my online business? Where do I go......how much does it cost.....and is it difficult to set up?

I can recommend www.transx.co.uk, they handle all of the payments for our website. there are no setup or monthly fees and very friendly staff.

We have a lot of customers who use Protx, very good feedback from their customers. However Googlecheckout has a lot of complaints.
