Is it just me or is the Italian postage system molto crap?

if ever we have problems with international mail I can be guaranteed it will be Italy, in fact I would go so far as to say if we post to Italy I can guarantee a problem.

I've got family in Italy. Been a nightmare getting anything to them over the last ten years. On average probably nearing double figures shipment loses (some included postcards albeit).

Shabby to say the least!

Never had problem but i have notice a lot of ebay sellers from outside the EU do not ship to Italy......

Almost every single HK based seller on the eBay, who uses EMS, won't ship to Italy
