Paypal Payments
hi guys,
i'm new to this paypal thingy and will need some advice regarding payments made through paypal.
my paypal account is register as "Personal" or rather "Buyer" account.
if i were to receive payments through paypal, can i transfer the funds received immediately into my bank account?
what are the payment methods available for the sender? is it only through using funds from his paypal account?
would appreciate all advice.

Yes you can transfer money to your bank account this will take about 5 working days.
method payments are normally taken from there own bank account at first if there is not enough funds in the bank then it will come off your credit card.

Avoid PayPal if you can. First of all, PayPal costs money for you, the seller, so it's not a very effecient way of accepting payments.
Second, PayPal is not very safe. If you ship to someone who is using a stolen credit card, then 9 times out of 10 you will be stuck without your item and no payment.
If you need to use PayPal then at least upgrade to the Premier Business account. It's free (or was when I did it back in the day) and gives some added benefits (I think).
The sender can send money using his bank account (checking/savings), a credit/debit card, and possibly check or money order through paypal.

totally agree, I am stuck with 2 of my payments made 1 year ago until now. I lost one of the case. The other one, I won, but they did a further chargeback, which they're still investigating the case. What I wanted to say is, even if you can prove that you've sent the physical goods out, you will still lose the chargeback case. so avoid paypal if you can.
